Sigit Pramana is the CEO of Arthamuat Group, with subsidiaries consisting of PT Arthamuat Pramindo Utama (PRAMINDO) and PT Arpro Global Sinergi (ARPRO). In running and building his business, Sigit has the motto "Never Give Up." The business now run by Sigit was originally started by the late Bambang Haryono in 1990.
At that time, Arthamuat Group was known as a company with experience and credibility in the heavy lift industry in Indonesia. The economic crisis that occurred from 1998 to the early 2000s hit the business of Arthamuat Group hard while it was still developing. In fact, this situation caused Arthamuat Group to experience a period of 'temporary death'.
However, Arthamuat Group managed to survive. A business transition was carried out, which previously run by the late Bambang Haryono was passed on to several of his daughters. One of them is Paramitha Setya Wulandary, the wife of Sigit Pramana.
The husband and wife team has revived the Arthamuat Group business, which had previously been 'in a coma'. Over time, the business has continued to grow. In fact, Arthamuat Group now has its own NDT Company. Not only that, but Arthamuat Group is also expanding to have other business units, ranging from inland transport, sea freight, project forwarding, heavy lift cargo, and now also venturing into export & import, as well as rental & sales, particularly DNV units & ISO Tank.
Amid the resurgence of Arthamuat Group's business, another crisis, namely the Covid-19 pandemic, struck again. Almost all business sectors and enterprises were affected by the conditions that originated from this health crisis, including Arthamuat Group.
However, past experiences have enabled Arthamuat Group to endure and coexist with the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. In fact, ARPRO successfully navigated through 2020, recording positive performance amid the triple shock that loomed throughout last year into 2021. ARPRO consistently maintained its performance through strategic optimization by diversifying its business portfolio.
